Tribal people today danced to celebrate their annual festival- “Tusu.”

The Tusu festival was held on Wednesday on the eve of Makar Sankranti in Ranchi.

Tribal people make idols of Goddess Tusu and worship her. This is also the time to begin operation of harvest.

So people dance and sing to welcome the harvest season. This festival is called Tusu ,popularly known as Tusu Parab or Tusu Puja.It is a tribal festival in Jharkhand and neighboring Odissa,West Bengal,Chattisgarh and Bihar.
