Here Ranchi Women’s College students are equipping themselves with strength to deal with eve teasers.How?

They are learning the fundamental techniques of Self-Defense,Martial Arts- Boxing, MMA & Kickboxing.  Each class is an infusion of fitness, weight-loss & Martial Arts techniques.

The basics of Martial Arts include: stance, footwork, punches, kicks, knees & elbows. More,since Muay Thai kickboxing (Thai Boxing) is a form of Martial Arts from Thailand,girl students are trying to learn it,it is learnt. Muay Thai is referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs" or the "Science of Eight Limbs" because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight "points of contact", as opposed to "two points" (fists) in boxing.

In any case,to get self equipped to gain strength is always a positive move.More so because the students Ranchi Women’s College are determined to learn Martial Arts to fight eve teasers.”We are happy that this was undertaken by them with an aim to fight against Romeo’s”,said Suinta Minz,a Ranchi Women’s College staff.

“We are enjoying the training course and hope,we are strong enough to deal with eve gteasers”,said Reeta Singh,a student,echoing the sentiments of a dozen students.
