With an aim to make regional connectivity easy and more affordable to wider mass, PM Narendra Modi on April 27th launched low-costs flights under UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme.

Presently, UDAN flights are available in 5 routes namely Nanded-Hyderabad, Cuddapah-Hyderabad, Shimla-Delhi, Delhi-Bhatinda & Delhi-Kanpur.Several other routes are likely to become operational in a phased manner.

Alliance Air, Air Odisha, Air Deccan, SpiceJet and Trujet are the Airline operaters under the UDAN scheme. Tickets can be booked under the UDAN scheme by visiting the websites of the above mentioned airlines.
