Bhumi Pujan will be done for Hazaribagh Airport soon.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed the officers to make the necessary preparations in this regard. Joint venture with the Jharkhand Government and Airport Authority of India has been done for the development of the airport.

Hazaribagh Airport is to be constructed under RCS Flight 3. This will facilitate direct flight from Hazaribagh to Patna and Kolkata. A tender has been published for this.
