A three-day conference on tribal philosophy began in Ranchi from January 17.
Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the conference.
There are 12 academic sessions to be held at Audrey House, Ranchi. In each session, various scholars will give their presentation on different dimensions of tribal culture.
There will also be a discussion on other forms of life including the lifestyle, food, diet and art culture of the tribal community.
This international conference is being organized by Dr. Ram Dayal Munda Tribal Welfare Research Institute and Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand.
