The National AYUSH Mission, Kerala State Mission, and the Kerala Government have set a record. As many as 250 AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres across Kerala have successfully received the NABH entry-level quality standards. Certificates were recently distributed to 100 centres in the second phase.

The NABH accreditation was granted following assessments of service standards, including infrastructure development, patient friendliness, safety, quality of medicines, and infection control. 

AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres offer effective treatments not only through Panchakarma therapies that rejuvenate both body and mind but also for lifestyle diseases and infectious conditions.All institutions have also constructed dedicated yoga halls and established Yoga Clubs in their service areas.

Dr. Divya Lakshmi, the Medical Officer at the Nemom Govt. Ayurveda Dispensary, noted that personalized treatment plans are provided for each patient. This centre offers Ayurkarma project,an outpatient-based Panchakarma therapy besides a Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) management clinic and daily domiciliary palliative care services.
Mental health services aimed at equipping the public to face the stresses of modern life are made available at the Nemom and Attipra dispensaries. Dr. Soumya, the Medical Officer at Attipra Ayurveda Dispensary,also reported the successful operation of an infertility clinic at the centre led by a specialist medical officer.

Dr. Manju G.S., the Chief Medical Officer at the Valiyavila Homoeo Dispensary, stated that the centre receives over 100 patients daily.This centre also has operationalised the AHIMS (AYUSH Homoeopathy Information Management System), a digital platform that manages and records the entire patient care process.

A press tour was organized to select AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres in Thiruvananthapuram under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau and the National AYUSH Mission Kerala.Along with media professionals, the visit was attended by PIB Deputy Director Dr. Athira Thampi, Assistant Director Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, AYUSH Mission State Program Manager Dr. R. Jaynarayanan, Project Coordinator Dr. Arya Soman, and Mass Media Officer Sanchana S. Kurup.
