Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, hosted two distinguished guests today Prof. (Dr.) Shashikala Gurpur, Dean of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur. They were warmly welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Vice-Chancellor, NUSRL. On this occasion, NUSRL signed two significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur.

Prof. (Dr.) Shashikala Gurpur addressed students in a special session on “Patient Safety and the Role of AI in Healthcare”. 

She explained how Artificial Intelligence emerges as a vital component in the health sector and encouraged students to understand its growing impact. Later, she also interacted with faculty members, engaging in discussions on promoting academic writing and publications.

Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha also led a special session with the faculty, focusing on exploring new opportunities, technological advancements, and innovative methods to strengthen universities.

 

The MoUs highlight several areas of collaboration, including the exchange of research programs, joint research projects and publications, academic resource sharing, faculty and student exchange programs, and mutual support in various academic initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha and Prof. (Dr.) Shashikala Gurpur expressed their delight at the partnership and emphasized the importance of inter-university cooperation.
