Jharkhand police is aware of the infiltration of three Jaish-e- Mohammed into the poll bound Bihar through Nepal.
Bihar police issued high alert across the state followed by Bihar police, it is learnt.
Reports said that these three suspected members of the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed infiltrated Bihar through the Nepal border.
They have been identified as Hasnain Ali of Rawalpindi, Adil Hussain of Umerkot, and Mohammad Usman of Bahawalpur, according to the Bihar Police.
The police headquarter in Ranchi was reportedly taken not of it and circulated the intelligence inputs to border areas of Jharkhand and Bihar in Palamau and Hazaribagh divisions.
Bihar police has circulated their names, photographs, and passport details to border districts for verification and enhanced surveillance.
Intelligence reports suggest that the trio had landed in Bihar via Kathmandu in the second week of August and crossed into Bihar during the third week of the month.
With the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, security agencies are on heightened alert over the possibility of a terror strike in the state.
Sources said that senior police officials have been briefed on the situation, and instructions have been issued to all district intelligence units to intensify monitoring, collect field inputs, and act promptly against any suspicious activity.
