Ranchi/Delhi: National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Delhi, and the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, have signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement will accelerate academic and research collaboration between the two prestigious institutions.
The MoU was signed at the NFSU Delhi campus. Prof. (Dr.) Poorvi Pokhariyal, Director of NFSU Delhi, and Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Vice Chancellor of NUSRL Ranchi. This historic agreement was signed during a discussion on the theme “Legal Education in the Digital Age” at Delhi.
Under this MoU, the institutions will promote faculty and student exchange programs, as well as joint research projects, with a particular focus on forensic science, cyber law, and the prevention of digital crimes.
 Additionally, both institutions will jointly organize conferences, workshops, and seminars, emphasizing awareness, knowledge sharing, and exchange of ideas. Academic resources and expertise of both institutions will also be utilized in a collaborative manner.
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Delhi, is the first and only university established by the Government of India dedicated to forensic and allied sciences, cyber security, law, technology, and management education.
With this MoU, NUSRL students will gain deeper exposure to research and particularly to the field of forensic science, enabling them to understand and address issues specific to this crucial domain.
Expressing his delight at the signing of the agreement, Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Vice Chancellor of NUSRL, said: “In the digital age, integrating legal education with technology and science is of utmost importance.
This MoU with NFSU will provide our students with practical insights into forensic science, which is an essential skill for future legal professionals.”
