Defence Expo- East Tech Symposium is being held in Ranchi. It begins inside the Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in the sports complex in the state capital city of Jharkhand on September 19 and concludes on September 21.

Toward this end, Union Minister of state for Defence, Sanjay Seth and Major General Sanjay Singh Mann met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his Ranchi residence and apprised him of the the three - day long Defence Expo and invited him to grace the inaugural function as Chief Guest.

The event is going to showcase defence technologies and innovations, with participation from the armed forces and infantry representatives.

As per the schedule, Chief of Defence Staff( CDS) General Anil Chouhan has arrived in Ranchi to participate in the Defence Expo.
