Hemant Soren government has appointed Avinash Kumar (IAS: 1993) as Chief Secretary.
Avinash Kumar succeeds Alka Tiwari (IAS: 1988) who Demited office on Tuesday.
Avinash Kumar, who is considered trusted bureaucrat of the CM Soren, is currently the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Kumar had long residual service till August 2029. This makes his appointment as Chief Secretary a matter of best choice for the CM Soren.
