Former Union Minister and Jharkhand’s Ex CM Arjun Munda has played a significant role in promoting archery by establishing academies, founding associations, and advocating for the sport in his capacity as a politician and sports administrator.
His contributions have helped develop talent from Jharkhand’s tribal communities, including world-class archer Deepika Kumari.
Now, Arjun Munda has figured in one of four pictures posted on the social media platform X by Telugu actor Ram Charan.
Ram Charan did so after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday( October 12, 2025).
Echoing his sentiments, Ram Charan wrote on X- October 12, 2025 -
“Honoured to meet Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, the success of the world’s first Archery Premier League, led by Anil Kamineni Garu.
This is our small step to preserve the legacy of archery and promote it worldwide. Congratulations to all the athletes. We hope for many more.”
Incidentally, Ram Charan’s meeting with PM Modi took place after he launched the Archery Premier League 2025 in New Delhi on October 4.
The meeting revolved around the success of the Archery Premier League, an initiative aimed at bringing the sport of archery to a wider audience.
The actor emphasized his gratitude for the Prime Minister’s support and the growth of archery in India. "The Prime Minister's guidance and passion for sports will help us preserve and promote the legacy of archery worldwide. Congratulations to all the athletes — we hope many more will join this incredible sport for better mental and physical health.(sic)"
Though he did not prefer to respond on his view, Arjun Munda too has made contributions to promote archery in Jharkhand.
