




Ranchi: Maloti Hambram, an LL.M. scholar from the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, and a proud member of the tribal community from Musaboni No. 1, East Singhbhum, has brought immense pride to Jharkhand and India by representing the nation at the German-India Innovation Summit (GIIC) 2025, held on October 6th–7th in Berlin, Germany
The summit, focused on accelerating innovation and technological collaboration between India and Germany, witnessed the participation of distinguished leaders including CEOs, policymakers, and innovators. Key highlights included keynote addresses by the Indian Ambassador to Germany, Ajit Gupta, and former Chairman of the State Bank of India, Dinesh Khara, alongside strategic dialogues featuring leaders from Siemens, Bosch, Maruti Suzuki, and Bharat Forge.


Maloti Hambram, currently pursuing her LL.M. with a specialization in Constitutional and Administrative Law, actively contributed to the summit’s working sessions. She participated in the immersive Collective Futures Beyond 2045 workshop, which utilized strategic foresight to explore social, technological, economic, and legal dimensions shaping the next two decades fostering a shared vision for India-Germany cooperation.
Following the Berlin summit, Ms. Hambram extended her diplomatic engagements during her visit to Belgium from October 9th–10th, 2025, where she held insightful discussions with Members of the European Parliament and officials from the Belgian Embassy.
The dialogues centered on key themes such a youth empowerment, future-ready skills, and strengthening Indo-European partnerships. Her participation was supported through her active involvement with the youth-led policy forum Think India, which promotes cross-national collaboration and intellectual exchange.


The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of NUSRL Ranchi, Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil congratulated Ms. Hambram on her remarkable achievement.

Ms. Hembram’s academic journey began at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Surda, East Singhbhum. She later completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law University, Odisha, before joining NUSRL Ranchi for her (LL.M) postgraduate studies.
