Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51 thousand appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various Government departments and organizations through video-conferencing this morning( October 24, 2025) under the Rozgar Mela initiative.
Jharkhand's capital city, Ranchi, was included among the cities hosting Rojgar Melas, both for central and state government jobs.
The postal department, among several central government departments, Railways, and PSUs, showcased the Rojgar Mela used by PM Modi to distribute 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various government departments across the country.
The Prime Minister also addressed the new appointees during the event. This 17th Rozgar Mela was graced by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta.
A press release issued by the Public Information Bureau claimed that Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfillment of the Prime Minister’s commitment to accord the highest priority to employment generation. “It will play a significant role in providing meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in nation-building.”
