Jharkhand based cricket fans are upbeat over the CSK CEO Kasi Viswanath statement that Ranchi born super star of cricket MS Dhoni is all set to play in the IPL 2026.

“We are very happy to wait and see our beloved Dhoniji will play in the next IPL 2026”, said Sundar Singh, a fan of Dhoni, echoing the sentiments of many cricket fans in the state capital of Jharkhand.

According to Dhoni’s IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kasi Viswanath, the former India captain is not going to retire and will play in the 2026 edition of the 10-team tournament.

Viswanath made the big reveal in a recent video shared by Provoke Lifestyle on YouTube. Kasi was asked a couple of young boys about Dhoni’s retirement, to which he replied by saying that the 44-year-old is not retiring.

“No, he is not going to retire," Kasi said in the first video, and “No, he is not retiring for this (2026) IPL" in the second.
