Jharkhand High Court lawyer Rajiv Kumar has registered an online complaint against IPS officer and former Director General of Police( DGP), Anurag Gupta.
In his complaint, Rajiv Kumar has enclosed Babulal Marandi, BJP leader and former CM of Jharkhand, media reports, alleging that the then DGP,Anurag Gupta connived with Gangster Sujit Sinha created an organisation called Koelanchal Shanti Samiti ( KSS).
By using the platform of KSS,coal contractors,transporters,doctors and businessmen were targeted for collection of crores of rupees ransom, alleged Ravi Kumar in his complaint.
Further, Kumar has referred to Babulal Marandi’s allegation made public via press conference that on the basis of one under-trial prisoner’s suggestion the then DGP Anurag Gupta got one gangster Aman Sahu shot dead in “ encounter.”
Another serious allegation made by lawyer Rajiv Kumar in his online complaint against the then DGP Anurag Gupta is that “KSS platform was used to provide Pakistan made weapon to criminals.
“This disclosure ( by Babulal Marandi) is not only dangerous in Jharkhand, but signals a threat to the whole country”, according to the complaint filed by Rajiv Kumar.
Now, complainant lawyer Rajiv Kumar has two alternatives.One, wait for registration of FIR and investigation against the former DGP.Two, if the police fails to do so, move the Jharkhand High Court by filing a Public Interest Litigation seeking CBI probe.
