The CM Hemant Soren led government in Jharkhand kicked off its first anniversary celebrations ‘Niukti Patra Vitran Samaroh’ on Friday with a huge gathering of hundreds men and women.
The Samaroh addressed by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, held at Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi,highlighted distribution of 10,000 appointment letters to youths.
The appointment letters were from both various government departments and private companies in Jharkhand.
The selected youths had come to Morahabadi maidan from different districts, blocks and villages. The the state administration has made sitting arrangement for 50,000 people.
The entire Morahabadi maidan and roads linked with it were decked up with posters and banners of the ministers and Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
The opposition Congress and its allies have been raising the issue of employment for long. Against this backdrop, providing appointment letters to 10,000 youths has generated a sense of enthusiasm among the workers of the ruling JMM and considered as a major achievement of the Soren government.
Most Ministers, top civil servants and the CM Hemant Soren looked upbeat.
