Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, successfully conducted the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026) on 7 December 2025 across all designated centres in Jharkhand. 

The examination was held peacefully and in accordance with all prescribed guidelines.

A total of 2,299 candidates from Jharkhand were scheduled to appear at five centres across the state, with the highest number registered at NUSRL Ranchi. All centres reported smooth functioning of examination processes, including security checks, seating arrangements, technical support, and invigilation duties.

Dr. Jisu Ketan Pattanaik, State Coordinator for CLAT 2026 (Jharkhand) and Assistant Registrar (In-charge) at NUSRL Ranchi, stated:
“CLAT 2026 has been conducted across Jharkhand in a seamless and well-coordinated manner. All examination centres adhered strictly to the guidelines, and we appreciate the cooperation of candidates, centre teams, and district administration.”

All participating centres—including Karim City College (Jamshedpur), Chotanagpur Law College (Namkum), Neerja Sahay DAV Public School (Kanke), and Central University of Jharkhand (Cheri-Manatu)—completed final reviews and executed well-organized arrangements for the exam.
