A red-faced BJP has revised its list of newly appointed office bearers of its Mandal( Sub -Divisional) committee for Garhwa district in Jharkhand after being informed about inclusion of two leaders who were dead and yet,were tasked with the onerous responsibility of leading the saffron party at the Mandal level.

After removing the names of dead leaders, Sonu Devi and Kapil Prasad were included in the list as BJP’s Mandal president from Ramkanda and Chiniyan Mandals of Garhwa respectively.

Ramjanda and Chiniya Mandals presidents respectively Paras Nath Mali and Ramsakal Korwa had died months ago.

However, apparently, to hide the mega mistake, the BJP leadership has made public new office bearers list by excluding some other leaders as well. They include Sanjay Yadav, Barwadih,Umashankar, Majhigaon( Rural) and Pawan Kumar, Majhigaon(Urban).

This has generated protest within the BJP, promoting Late Parasnath Mali’s son Awadhesh Mali and Late Ram Kamal Korea’s son Raju Korwa demanding that the party high command nominate them in place of their deceased fathers.

When asked BJP Garhwa District Incharge Amardeep Yadav admitted the mistake and attributed it as “ typing error.”
