This text is part of the front and full- page advertisement, carrying the pictures of Governor Santosh Gangwar, published by the Information and Public Relations Department in all local newspapers on Monday morning. The Department is headed by CM Soren.

Notably, by according warm welcome to her, CM Soren, who leads the state of Jharkhand as leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, a prime opposition party of the BJP, has joined a group of three Chief Ministers in the country who had greeted the President Murmu.

Among these CMs, two CMs each belonged to the BJP and one of the Opposition- Congress.

They were as follows.

*Odisha: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi( BJP)welcomed President Droupadi Murmu on her arrival in Bhubaneswar in November 2025.

*Telangana: CM Revanth Reddy (Congress)welcomed the President in Hyderabad in November 2025.

*Uttar Pradesh: CM Yogi Adityanath( BJP) welcomed President Murmu at the Lucknow airport during her visit in November 2025.

*Karnataka: State ministers, along with the Governor, welcomed her during a recent visit where she undertook a submarine sortie in Karwar in December 2025.

As it is, unlike Karnataka, where the Congress leader and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah preferred not to welcome the President Murmu at the airport there, Jharkhand CM Soren greeted the President Murmu by bowing his head down before her on her arrival at the Ranchi airport on Sunday evening. 

In the tribal sensitive state of Jharkhand, indigenous identity matters. Since both President Murmu and CM Soren are Adivasis, a neutral observer opined that Soren has shown his tribal community camaraderie by according warm welcome to her.
