On 02.01.2016 two siblings was reported missing in Dhurwa police station area in capital city of Jharkhand. Even after sincere efforts in the first 12 days, they could not be traced.

However police continued in their efforts and on January 12,2026, both minor brother and sister have been recovered from Chitarpur in Ramgarh by a 40 -members team of Special Investigation Team.

The police had declared Rs 2 lakh award to information provider and alert was sounded across 17,000 police stations across the country.

Two persons were arrested on charge of kidnapping 5- year old Ansh Kumar and 4-year old Anshika Kumar who had left their home for buying biscuits a day after arrival of the new year 2026.
