Students of the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, delivered an outstanding performance by winning the Inter-University Debate Competition at the Yuva Gyan Samagam 2025–26, a prestigious three-day state-level event held from January 16 to 18, 2026.

The event was organised by the Jharkhand State Youth Commission under the Department of Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand, and witnessed participation from universities across all districts of the state.

Representing NUSRL, Sakhi Sharma and Subham Sourav, both third-year students, showcased exceptional clarity of thought, persuasive articulation, and intellectual depth during the competition. Amid intense and high-calibre participation, the duo outperformed all other teams to secure the Winner’s title, along with a cash prize of 1,00,000.

The achievement reflects the strong academic environment and vibrant debating culture at the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi. The success of the students has brought laurels to the university and stands as an example of leadership, dedication, and academic excellence.
