*Ranchi:* The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), is organising a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Health and Wellness” from 27th to 31st January 2026 at the university campus.

The programme is being organised in collaboration with The Art of Living Foundation and the Jharkhand State Faculty Development Agency (JSFDA). The initiative focuses on enhancing employees' quality of life, achieving work–life balance, and improving professional effectiveness through holistic wellness practices.

The sessions will be held daily from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Reference Library, NUSRL Campus. The programme will include guided breathwork, meditation, yoga, and knowledge sessions, aimed at promoting mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Yoga sessions will be conducted by Ms. Ria Tayal, Yoga Instructor, The Art of Living Foundation and Dr. Pijush Malpaharia, Centre Coordinator, JSFDA

The inaugural session of the programme will be attended by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Vice-Chancellor, NUSRL Ranchi, Dr. Vibha Pandey, Deputy Director, Higher and Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand, and Mr. Rajeev Nambir, National Director, The Art of Living.

Talking about the upcoming Faculty Development Programme, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ashok R. Patil stated that such initiatives play an important role in enhancing professional effectiveness and strengthening the overall academic environment of the institution.
