After she inaugurated the National Arogya Fair 2026 in Shegaon, Buldhana, Maharashtra, on February 25, 2026, President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the Sri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Centre Trust at Kidman area in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur on Thursday( February 26, 2026).

During her short visit, President Murmu is going to fly from Buldhana, Raipur and Ranchi to land in Jamshedpur, it is learnt. 

President Murmu, who is likely to arrive in the industrial city via Ranchi around 12 noon, will also perform the ground - breaking ceremony of the centre, it is learnt.

The East Singhbhum district administration has made elaborate security arrangements in view of the President’s visit, the officials said.

Murmu is expected to share the dais with Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan during the occasion.

During her day-long stay, President Murmu will also interact with students of the Tata Manipal Medical College at Barudih in Jamshedpur.

Elaborate arrangements have been made to welcome her and maintain law and order in Jamshedpur in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.
