Yet again, wild elephants were going violent in the border areas of Ranchi-Hazaribagh - Ramgarh districts of Jharkhand.

On Friday, three people, including an elderly man, were trampled to death by wild elephants in two separate incidents in Ramgarh.

According to reports, these two incidents took place within the jurisdiction of Gola police station in Ramgargh. The first incident took place at Banda village, where two people died, while the second incident unfolded at Murpa village, where an elderly man was reportedly killed by wild elephants.

The bodies of the deceased have been recovered and are being sent for post-mortem examination at a government hospital," Officer in-charge of Gola police station, Abhishek Kumar, told media persons.
