Jharkhand based Forest Department has established eye soothing site for tourists- Chakulia Ecological Diversity Park in Chakulia, Jamshedpur.

Already, tourists have started visiting the park in this season of summer. In fact, this Ecological Diversity Park in Chakulia  represents Eastern India's largest ecological park project.

The park spans  in  78 hectares (195 acres) with an investment of ₹23 crore. Located on Amlagoda Road in Chakulia, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand.

Prior to this Ranchi based Biodiversity Park servers as a testament to the state capital city's commitment to preserving nature amidst urban development. 

The Biodiversity park is strategically located to offer both locals and tourists a quick escape into nature’s lap. Covering a significant area, the park boasts varied terrains that include lush meadows, dense forests, and tranquil water bodies, forming a microcosm of the region’s natural environment.

However,unlike Biodiversity park of Ranchi, Chakulia Ecological Diversity park combines recreational facilities, environmental education, cultural heritage, and sustainable tourism to become a premier eco-tourism destination, serving as a multi-state tourism hub for Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, and Bihar.

Both Biodiversity and Ecological Diversity parks that provide  comprehensive facility have been developed by the Forest Department of Jharkhand.

The Ecological Diversity park in Chakulia was developed under the supervision of Forest Ranger Digvijay Singh, with construction handled by United Nursery from Kolkata.

Positioned strategically near the borders of Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha, Chakulia's geographical location makes it an ideal tourism hub for visitors from multiple states. 

The park is Chakulia is conveniently located just 2 kilometers from Chakulia Railway Station, which lies on the important Howrah-Mumbai railway line, ensuring excellent connectivity for tourists.

The Chakulia park offers an extensive array of amenities designed to cater to diverse visitor preferences, from recreational facilities to educational spaces, cultural elements, and sustainable infrastructure.
