After Yashwant Sinha and Ram Jethmalani,Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday backed Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the National Democratic Alliance’s prime ministerial candidate for 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader said that his party would support the decision taken by the BJP and the NDA.

“We are a smaller ally, so whoever BJP decides we will abide by that… Narendra Modi is a good leader. He has done tremendous work in development,” Badal said supporting Modi as the candidate.
Earlier,Modi was backed by BJP leader Sinha and ex BJP leader Jethmalani.Even Tamil Nadu CM and AIIDMK leader J Jailalitha is strong backer of Modi.
