The state Cabinet today approved a plan to adopt Vidhwa Samman Pension(Honour Widow pension) scheme for widow of 18-year above age under the state plan in Jharkhand.

The Cabinet meeting presided by Chief Minister Raghubar Das took the decision to hand over the fund meant to be provided to two international Kabbadi players Vindhaywashni Kumari Sinha and Archna Kumari.

It also approved the plan to set up Panchayat Secretariat to make the Gram Panchayat unctional at the Panchayat level.

Also,in accordance with the new policy of the Indian Railways,the Cabinet approved MoU to set up a Joint Venture Company comprising the state government,the Union Government and the Indian Railways to implement the railway plans in Jharkhand.

It approved a plan to appoint 86 personnel(31 Teachers and 55 staff) for the Veterinary College of Birsa Agriculture University.
