BJP President Nitin Nabin gets warm welcome in Ranchi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin landed in Ranchi on a three-day visit to Jharkhand starting October 23 to strengthen the party in the state.

“ BJP will go door to door to expose Hemant Soren government’s shortcomings”, said the BJP chief after arrival in Ranchi. 

A political resolution entailing the BJP state unit’s strategy is expected to be passed, the report said. “ This Mahagathbandhan government in the state has failed in delivering pro-people demands of the people”, said a BJP leader.

Incidentally, this is his second visit to Jharkhand after taking charge as chief of the BJP.

As per the schedule, Nitin Naveen is headed to participate in the inaugural session of the Jharkhand BJP State Working Committee meeting, which will begin today (October 24 ).

Jharkhand state unit of the BJP office bearers are ready to welcome him. There appears to be enthusiasm among party workers regarding the National President’s visit.

The state capital, Ranchi, has been decorated with BJP flags, banners and his cutout to welcome him.

Prior to his arrival in Jharkhand, the state BJP President Aditya Sahu on Thursday (October 22, 2026) had held a meeting with party office-bearers at the state office to review the preparations for the National President’s visit and his welcome.

State General Secretary Amar Kumar Bauri said he is welcome in the sacred land of ‘Dharti Aaba’ Bhagwan Birsa Munda—as the BJP National President.

Mr. Bauri mentioned that Mr. Nabin arrived at Ranchi Airport at 7:00 PM on October 23 and was greeted by scores of party workers.
