Two ace archers, Deepika Kumari and Jayanta Talukdar,won laurels for the country at the Archery World Cup, Stage 1 in Shanghai, China.

Deepika, won the Silver medal in the Recurve Women Individual event losing to Ok-Hee Yun of Korea. In the Recurve Mixed Team event, she teamed up with Jayanta Talukdar and clinched the Silver medal.

Both of them belonging to Tata Archery Academy,lost to the American pair (Brady Ellison & Khatuna Lorig) in the finals of the event.
