Jharkhand Women,Child and Social Welfare Minister,Dr Louis Marandi today directed the police to set up a special team to locate and get Ranchi’s Piska based woman rescued from human traffickers in New Delhi.

While the Minister was hearing complaints under the state government’s scheme-Janata Darbar-inside the Project Bhawan in Ranchi on Wednesday,a boy,who himself was the victim of human trafficking-told the Minister that a guy called Sanjay Lohra had made friendship,took him and his Badi Maa( ‘elder’ Mother) from Chandwa Tori Railway Station near Latehar in Jharkhand to Delhi.

“In Delhi,Lohra sold us to a man called Sagar at Rs 80,000.I somehow managed to escape and reached home and came here today to inform you about it”,complaint the boy infront of the Minister.

In response,Dr Louis Marandi took it up seriously and quickly called the IG(Human Rights)Sampat Meena and directed her to set up a special team and try to locate and rescue the victim woman from human traffickers as soon as possible.
