With an aim to organise Panchayati Raj Diwas in Jamshedpur on April 24,Jharkhand Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma today presided over a meeting in Ranchi.
As it is,the state government is slated to organise this national Panchayati Raj Diwas as part of the national programme-‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday(India to shine via the shine of village)-slated to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi across India on April 24,2016.
In Jharkhand,more than 3000 Panchayat representatives are expected to participate in Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday programme in Jamshedpur.
To hold the programme,the CS Raj Bala Verma directed the heads of all Departments to ensure that it was held successfully and the participants were nicely welcomed and provided fine lodging,food and transportation acility.
She told them not to leave any stone untouched to make it a historic event.
