Jawahar Lal Nehru University Professor M.N.Panini is in the news in Jharkhand with the Union Government-run Central University Jharkhand (CUJ)management suspending its Dean Shreya Bhattacharji and prohibited her movement out of Ranchi.

She had invited Professor Panini to be honourable guest on the CUJ sponsored event to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on March 17-19 without allegedly taking permission from its management headed by its Vice Chancellor Nand Kumar Yadav.
