After he came to Ranchi by road from Patna,Richard R. Verma , U.S. Ambassador to India,met Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Raghubar Das inside his residence in Kanke Road,Ranchi.

Ambassador Verma was accompanied by Craig Holl,Consul General US Consulate,Kolkata,Gaurav Bansal,Consul for Political Economic affairs and Greg pardo, Asst public affairs officer.

During the discussion,Verma talked about the possibility of making investments in Jharkhand and infoirmed that the Indo-US trade covers $150 billion.

“The objective was to raise this sum to $500 billion.Jharkhand can play a significant role in attracting huge sum of this goal”,said Ambassador Verma.

Talking about the third position gained by Jharkhand in ‘Ease of Doing Business’,Ambassador Verma opined that it is a significant achievement.He invited the CM Das to visit the USA and said that the U.S. is keen to do joint business with Jharkhand government.
