In an effort to upgrade the trauma facility at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) in Ranchi, the Jharkhand government has sought the help of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi .

State Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi has also sought more funds from the Centre for strengthening the state AYUSH directorate.

The technical help sought from the AIIMS for apex medical facility will provide training to the doctors and technicians of Rims in handling trauma care.
