Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has called a high level meeting today in the evening to take stock of the security situation in wake of the terror attack on Pathankot airbase of Indian Air Force.
Top officials of the IAF, Army and the Ministry have been asked to remain present in the meeting, sources in the Defence Ministry said, adding that Parrikar was closely monitoring the situation.
“The Minister was in constant touch with Air Headquarters,” the sources said.
