The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure for research-based studies once the construction of its permanent campus is complete at Sukkurhuttu, about 10 km from the state capital.
Vice chancellor Darlando T Khathing said the fund for imparting quality education to knowledge seekers is not a constraint but more important is active and sincere participation of students and scholars, according to a CUJ press release.
The VC said so during his inaugural address at 3-day National Workshop on ‘Radiation-A Powerful Tool for Research in Physical, Chemical and Life Sciences’ jointly organised by the Kolkata Centre of (University Grant Commission) UGC-(Directorate of Atomic Energy) DAE-Consortium for Scientific Research (CSR) and Centre for Applied Physics of CUJ at Brambe here.
He said the new permanent campus will provide a good working academic ambiance and looked forward to more of such deliberations for the benefit of the students as well as faculties.
