With an aim to mobilise and learn the needs of people to meet them by preparing and implementing development schemes in the forthcoming annual budget of the state government,Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has been holding pre budget consultation with the people in different places of the state.

After holding a meeting in Palamau early this week,he held an identical meeting in Chaibasa today.Addressing the people,the CM informed that the state government is going to set up a medical college in Chaibasa during the forthcoming financial year(2016-17).

He said that the inauguration of technical university will be made by the Governor on December 10.”For this technical university,Rs 80 crore was already sanctioned”,said the CM adding that the state government plans to set up a separate college for women in Chaibasa.

Even at Saraikela,one women college is expected to start functioning this year.The functioning of the colleges will be made on PPP mode.”The state government aims to set up a library in every Block”,said the CM.

He said,the state government has a plan to set up a branch of Amiti University.In Jamshedpur,a professional college will be set up.”For the girls,a training centre for teachers and nurses will be set up in every district”,said the CM while addressing the people in the pre budget consultation meeting with the people of Chaibasa in West Singhbhum district.

The meeting was attended among others by seniors officers and the people from all sections of the society.
