Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to newly designated Lokayukta Justice Dhruv Narayan Upadhyay during the swearing ceremony at Raj Bhawan in Ranchi on Thursday.
The post of Lokayukta was lying vacant for the past over two years since Justice Amreshwar Sahay retired early this year in January.
Justice Dhruv Narayan Upadhyay was appointed as Lokayukta of Jharkhand for five years.
