On the occasion of the International Women Day today,Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das inaugurated 'Aajivika Mahila Mahasamelan'(Conference for employment of women)in Ranchi.The event was attended by Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu.Addressing the conference,Das said that the state government is committed to empower women in Jharkhand."We will do every lawful action to create opportunities for the employment of women",said the CM.

"It is nesessary to empower them politically",said the CM. He added that measures were initiated to train women to self employ themselves in the state.
