Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu today launched water facility scheme for villagers in Ranchi.The scheme was organised by state unit of the Indian Police Service Officers Wives' Association(IPSOWA) at Tender village under Ratu block in Ranchi district.
The water facility service was billed as 'Tripti Yojna'.The Governor appreciated the office bearers of the Jharkhand unit of IPSOWA for undertaking a social service programme to provide water to villagers free of cost.
In fact,the state unit of IPSOWA has been organising pro- people schemes such as health check up camps."For these works IPSOWA office bearers must be appreciated",said Governor Murmu.
The Governor opined that children must be sent to school and lanes and by lanes in village must be kept clean everywhere."Money is not required for cleaning",she opined and advised that people must strongly oppose the age old problem of child marriage at all cost.
The Tripti Yojna programme was attended among others by villagers and IPSOWA's Jharkhand unit president Punam Pandey.Many villagers acquired water as well.
