Many parts of Dumri Bihar railway station falling between Gomia and Dania railway stations under Dhanbad Division is full of ash.It was set ablaze by CPI (Maoist) cadres last night.    

As a result, rail traffic on Barkakana-Gomo track was paralysed for hours, said reports reaching Ranchi.                    

Due to the fire, almost all goods, papers and materials of Dumri Bihar railway station were damaged.                              

Police said the attack on this railway station was launched by a group of CPI (Maoist)'s 20-25 men, women and children.        

At the site ,Bokaro SP YS Ramesh, Railway SP Asim Vikrant Minz, CRPF 26 Battalion Commandant and RPF Dhanbad Commandant Vinod Kumar were present.
