Lights shine. Billboards have sprung up. And roads are under construction between Airport and Prabhat Tara ground, venue of the public meeting slated to be addressed by PM Narendra Modi in Ranchi on September 23.

While the Prabhat Tara ground is being beautified and tents put up to accommodate nearly one lakh people, the police are on toes to maintain law and order. As per the schedule, PM Modi will launch Ayushman Bharat Yojna ( PM-JAY). The ambitious Yojna aims to provide health insurance to over 10 crore poor families. In other words, more than 50 crore people will benefit from this health insurance scheme, claims an ad published by GoI' Welfare Ministry/ National Health Mission. The ad carries a slogan- Bimar Na Rahega Aab Lachar, Bimari Ka Hoga Aab Muft Upchar( Helpless will not remain ill, they will get treatment free of cost). It also claims to be the world's biggest health insurance scheme providing insurance of treatment cost up to Rs 5 lakh to a beneficiary.

In Jharkhand, every family covered by Food Security scheme and having Ration Card till April 1, 2018 will be entitled to get ' Gold Card' to benefit from the health insurance. During the inaugural function, PM Narendra Modi is slated to provide Gold Cards to selected beneficiaries from Ranchi, West and East Singbhum and Palamau. Many government bodies including Managers of Common Service Centres have been trained to provide Gold Cards to beneficiaries who were already selected on the basis of their ration cards, each was linked with Aadhaar. To greet the PM Modi, the Chief Minister Raghubar Dad and the state unit BJP leaders were leaving no stone unturned to welcome him.
