The National Investigation Agency and the police have started the search for seven Ranchi based youth who were allegedly Indian Mujahideen operatives.

During his interrogations,Manzar Imam has told NIA sleuths that these seven youth were based in Ranchi and its adjoining areas in Jharkhand.”Four injured accused responsible for serial blasts in Surat and Ahmadabad in 2008 were treated in a hospital in Ranchi”,said a senior IPS officer who was investigating the case.

‘Manzar had taken a house near his house in Bariatu in Ranchi for their stay and hospitalization.He had also revealed the names of more than a dozen men of IM”,he said on condition of anonimity.

Manzar had his links in Jamshedpur too.”He had arranged a lodge facility for SIMI cum IM’s terrorist Dr Faizal in Zakir Nagar in Mango,Jamshedpur”,says Jamshedpur SP Akhilesh Kumar Jha.

The NIA sleuths had seized a laptop from the possession of Manzar.The IT experts and NIA sleuths are reportedly examining it.They hope to resolve many terrorist related cases.
