Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that martyrdom of Vijay Soreng resident of Gumla will not go in vain. The country will take its revenge. This cowardice attack by terrorist and war by Pakistan will not last long. Pakistan has lost three wars to India in the past. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has made it clear that culprits will be punished. We have full faith in the power of our soldiers. Pakistan will lose once again. 

The Chief Minister said that the whole country stands with the families of martyred. All my colleagues and I will give our one month's salary to the families of martyred. The Chief Minister said that Rs 10 lakh to the family of martyred Vijay Soreng, with government job to one of the family member will be given. The government will also take care of the education of children.

The body of Martyred Vijay Soreng was sent to Gumla by road.

Assembly Speaker Dr Dinesh Uraon, Union Minister of State Jayant Sinha, Minister CP Singh, MP Ramlal Chaudhary, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal, Kanke MLA Dr. Jitu Charan Ram, Mayor Asha Lakra, DGP DK Pandey paid homage to the martyred. 

On this occasion a large number of Army officers, jawans and citizens of Ranchi were present.
