At the initiative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, food was arranged for the people of Jharkhand stranded in Delhi.
The Chief Minister thanked the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal for his support. Mr. Kejriwal has informed that the District Magistrates have been instructed to provide every possible assistance to the stranded people from Jharkhand and a two-time meal has been arranged for them.
He said that the government of Delhi is trying to provide every possible help so that no one remains hungry.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren was informed through a video that some people of Jharkhand who work in Delhi got stranded due to lockdown. There is no arrangements for food and they are starving.
After getting the information, the Chief Minister requested Arvind Kejriwal to provide them help.
He also requested all the people who are living outside Jharkhand to contact on the helpline no. 0651- 2282201 so that a proper help will be provided to every needy through the control room.
