Coronavirus has generated fear among a group of relatives and fans of ex Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Yadav is admitted to RIMS hospital in Jharkhand capital Ranchi of ailments even as he serves Jail as a convict in the multi-million rupee fodder scam.

"We always pray that he remains safe, healthy and happy", Tejaswi Yadav, younger son of Lalu Prasad Yadav says echoing the sentiments of his elder brother Tejpratap and mother Rabri Devi.

Their major cause of concern seems to be their awareness that Coronavirus is pandemic, spreading like a deadly infection and that the venue of their beloved Lalu Prasad's imprisonment is located in RIMS hospital, home to Coronavirus plus patients and Coronavirus Checking Centre.

However, the RIMS 'Paid Ward' where ex Bihar CM is undergoing imprisonment in this state government-run hospital, is located far away from Coronavirus centre and Trauma Centre.

Yet, earlier when these Coronavirus centres were planned to be set up at RIMS, Tejaswasi and Tejpratap had separately sought from the state government to help them get Lalu Yadav out of jail on parole. Nothing happened.

Now, the RIMS administration with the apparent backing of the state government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren who is supported by Lalu Prasad founded RJD, plans to shift him to a safer centre at RIMS.

But Lalu family is not satisfied. They want him out of jail on the parole.

"We will try to appeal to concerned functionaries in the government and judiciary to free him on parole so that he stays at home and safe', said a senior RJD leader who was part of the group serving to people  " LALU MEALS" every day outside RIMS, free of cost.
