Chief Minister Hemant Soren informed Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal that the Ministry of Railways had not conveyed the correct information.

The Jharkhand government has given NOC for 110 trains so far and more than 60 thousand migrant workers have returned home in 50 trains.

Jharkhand was the first state in the country that had requested to run trains. He has urged Piyush Goyal to provide more trains for Jharkhand so that more and more migrants could return.

Currently, 4 to 6 trains are coming to Jharkhand every day which is not enough to bring back about 7 lakh migrant workers of the state. He has requested to take a note on this issue and help the people of the state to return safely.
