Yet another Corona casualty is reported from the state government-run RIMS hospital in Ranchi on Monday. This was 17th death in Jharkhand due to COVID-19.

The victim was a resident of Bagodar in Giridih. She had come to RIMS to get herself treated for heart ailments. When she was tested, she turned out to be Corona positive.

The latest fact-sheet on Corona is as follows.

In all,1793 Corona positive patients have recovered making the recovering rate reach 75.27 percent. Among total Corona positive patients,82 percent-in number,1950- were migrants.

Data show that the number of Corona positive patients has come down to 589 in all 24 districts of the state.
