A war of words between the CM Hemant Soren and BJP MP Nishi Kant Dubey reached the court in Ranchi on Friday when the former lodged a case against the later.

Responding to the case, the court has fixed August 22 for the next hearing of the case. In his petition, Soren has alleged that Dubey had tarnished his image on false allegations raised by him on Facebook and Twitter. Soren's case incorporates both Facebook and Twitter as respondents in the case. 

On July 28, Dubey had tweeted in the form of a letter to Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh making a serious allegation that "a girl from Maharashtra had in 2013 alleged that the CM Hemant Soren had 'abducted' and 'raped' by him."In quick response, Soren tweeted that Dubey will get his reply in the court soon.

On August 6, Dubey tweeted informing that the CM Soren has lodged a defamation case against him."The allegation of abduction and rape was made by a girl. But the CM Soren has lodged a case against him", Dubey has tweeted. 

In another tweet, Dubey has alleged that Soren can get the 'girl' from Maharashtra 'murdered'."Mumbai police must provide security to the girl', tweeted Dubey in his address to Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
